VdoCipher Media Solutions Pvt Ltd (website at www.vdocipher.com) hereby referred as ‘VdoCipher’ or ‘We’.

When you upload a video to VdoCipher, you agree to abide by our Terms and Conditions. For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, if you have registered for a log-in to an account at VdoCipher.com or have access to your organisation’s VdoCipher account or if you are the person who authorises or makes payment for your organisation’s VdoCipher account, then you are considered a Subscriber (referred to as “you”).

What data does VdoCipher store about you?

• On signing up we request your name and email ID. Your email ID will be our point of contact with you, and your source of authentication with your VdoCipher account.

This helps us understand how much time users spend on our website, what links they choose to click, and which content on our website users find most useful. Using this information we are able to present you with the best content possible.
• In compliance with EU's General Data Protection Regulation, we would be happy to delete all user identifiable data on request. We also extend this facility to our users outside of EU.

What are the video playback data we collect?

We enable our users to collect how many unique users they have at any point of time, and also what videos are being viewed and are most popular. This data is anonymized and aggregated across all users.

This data enables content creators to understand how their users watch their content, enabling them to improve their own service offering. For example, if a particular elearning video is being watched a lot of times, it probably implies that the video is either very important or is difficult to understand. The content creator may create another video to supplement that video.

What we will not be doing with your data?

• We will not share your personal information with anyone else.
• We won't spam you (but we will send you useful updates and news from VdoCipher).
• We won't divulge your information to anyone you haven't asked us explicitly to reveal it to.

How do we communicate with you?

We have requested your email address so that, if we need to, we can get in touch with you regarding your account. By signing up you are giving us permission to email you updates on the VdoCipher service and to contact you individually should the need arise.
